“The yard and shoreline could use some TLC. The house is much larger than it appears from the outside. It was a great size for our family. We would probably return but would like to see the yard with more curb appeal. ”

“We really loved our stay in Mankato. The house is lovely and well appointed The bed was very comfortable and each bathroom was nice. The lock codes worked as described and the alleyway access was well explained.The only aspect of the kitchen that we used was a few dishes and the coffee maker -- but perfect for us on this trip. We walked to downtown Mankato from the house. It was a nice walk of 20 minutes to the restaurant we wanted to eat at. The only thing that confused us about the house was……

“We had a wonderful time. The cabin was comfortable and well organized. The view of the lake was amazing. We were in the area to learn more about the Minnesota State School as our dad grew up there but also enjoyed Mall of America and the mill in Fairbault. It was perfectly located between the three locations. We enjoyed dining at the various local restaurants and also cooked on the grill at the cabin. No complaints here!”

“Hosted a bachelor party with 8 of my friends. It was the perfect place for us to relax yet still have things to do. The basketball court is tons of fun and it was awesome to jump in the lake right after. There is some sand and it’s up kept very well. There’s a nice doc and some water toys to use. Inside we took full advantage of the pool table and great TV room. There’s plenty of places to sleep for everyone. The hosts were awesome - communicated very quickly and made everything effortless. “We stayed here for our daughter's graduation at a nearby college, and we absolutely loved it. The house easily accommodated our larger group and everyone had a comfortable bed. There are extra fridges to minimize trips to town and plenty of hot water. The views and sunsets were absolutely phenomenal! We played games on the big table, cooked tasty food, roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the kayaks. Very quiet neighborhood with friendly people. It is a 15-20 minute drive to St. Peter, 15……

“Our family stayed at the Log Inn for my son’s college graduation. The number, set up, and location of the bedrooms within the house is perfect for multi-generational get togethers and the game room and outdoor games were wonderful. Every single thing you may need is available. The house was clean, however, there are areas that need attention - for example the sliding doors were not easy to use and screens were in disrepair. There was only one pool cue for the pool table ”
