“We stayed for a week mid-May, family of 5. Property was as described and pictured. Classic beach/lake house vibe. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances. New towels. Great pool with plenty of loungers. There is a very short walk over thru the dunes to the beach, right behind the house, the beach is very quiet and clean, lots of wildlife, crabs, birds....We visited some other beaches further north and this one was much cleaner and much less crowded. Maybe one group of people every 300-400……

“This was perfect for a long weekend. We typically spend a lot of our time in Avon by the pier so this location was perfect for us. It was a slight tight fit because husband just *had* to bring several surf boards but it worked out just fine. Kitchen was stocked well and host was very informative of how to use the space the best. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Overall no complaints, easy sound and beach access. Love being able to see both from the incredible decks. The pool was perfect after an afternoon on the beach or a soak in the hot tub. Rooms are spacious, beds are cozy and shower pressure and temp was great. Ample parking and space out front. Beach toys and kayaks and everything included were great to have as well as access to the pickleball / tennis court. Only complaint was one of the beds in the bunk bed room was filled with potato chips on……

“It was our first gaming vaca since the kids and grandkids!! Ages from 11 mo to 60 yrs! Lots of amenities in the area. The house, pool, beach were all awesome! We were blessed with great weather! Rooms are kinda small, and bathrooms are small too. Kitchen was fully furnished with all our needs! Bring your own TP, paper towels, beach towels, and cooking spices. Owner is fabulous to communicate with! No issues at all. Neighbors can be a bit loud, but the house is fairly tight, and a white noise……

Love the quiet hours for neighborhood. Keypad lock made it easy for us to come and go from the beach in groups. Convenient private outside shower and rinse station. Within delivery range for pizza from Buxton. Close to the grocery, gas, & emergency beach supplies. Easy TV login for streaming services. Easy to use hot tub.……

“Wow! This rental was top notch! Exactly as pictured. Tony was quick to respond when we had questions about the property before traveling. He even told us about a fireworks opportunity while we were there for 4th of July (excellent experience if you ever go during that time). A bit of a drive to local shopping and activities but worth the drive to stay in this quiet, non-crowded area. The kitchen was equipped with anything you could possibly need while on vacation. “Perfect for me traveling solo. The place was extremely clean. The towels were soft. The sheets were soft. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best bed I have ever had in renting places in OBX for 30 years. Everything I needed was there. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. My favorite seafood market in walkable distance. The deck was private. It was quiet. There is the pattering of feet during waking hours above that I got used to quickly. The neighborhood is quiet. ……
