“This was perfect for a long weekend. We typically spend a lot of our time in Avon by the pier so this location was perfect for us. It was a slight tight fit because husband just *had* to bring several surf boards but it worked out just fine. Kitchen was stocked well and host was very informative of how to use the space the best. We would definitely stay again! ”

“Perfect for me traveling solo. The place was extremely clean. The towels were soft. The sheets were soft. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was the best bed I have ever had in renting places in OBX for 30 years. Everything I needed was there. About a 10-15 minute walk to the beach. My favorite seafood market in walkable distance. “We spent a long weekend meeting up with family who were staying just a mile away. The location was perfect—conveniently close to the beach, great restaurants, and plenty of island amenities. The 2-bedroom space was clean and well-appointed, with a stocked kitchen (though we’d recommend bringing extra spices if you’re planning to cook often). Having an in-house washer and dryer was a huge plus!Sheets and towels were provided, and everything felt thoughtfully prepared. Do note that there’s a set……

“Had a great time. Third floor not wheelchair accessible. I was fine. Clean and newly renovated. The guys in the surf shop were very friendly and accommodating. I didn’t use any surf shop offerings however available. My family was at camp Hatteras campground so they came and got me each day. Only 2miles away. Laundry was free to use . Not in my apartment but 1 flight down.”

“We enjoyed being close to REAL Water Sports and the Salvo Day Use area - for some kiting and canoeing. The bedroom is small but the bathroom is large. Lee also has an outdoor shower, which is nice after coming home wet and sandy. The "kitchenette" is really just a mini-fridge, microwave, and single cup Keurig in the closet - adequate for a morning cup and to store your beer or leftovers, but don't plan to make yourself breakfast here. “We absolutely loved the cabana and the personnel at Wtermen’s retreat! From check in to dining and the water sports offered, all were nothing short of spectacular! We had a blast at our cabana and the beach was a short walk away. The food at the restaurant was fabulous and the sunsets were freaking awesome!
