“Every member of staff that we interacted with were helpful, friendly and courteous. The room was lovely and so was breakfast. Very dog friendly. We wish we could have stayed longer!”
“Brilliant team at the White Hart made us feel welcome from the minute we arrived. Friendly locals, excellent food and great choice of wines and beers. Super dog friendly with pooch snacks and free doggy breakfast to accompany the excellent human ones. Paw balm in the room was a wonderful touch. Thank you team White Hart. ”
“Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days……
“Another excellent stay at the White Horse. Barry is an excellent host who we share great banter with. The English breakfast id the best we have had at anywhere we have stayed. We can thoroughly recommend this fine village hostelry.”
“Great place to stay. Lovely welcome to a property that we found perfect. We really appreciated the help with the puncture too.
Easy access for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular from here. ”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Sue and Clive, food was amazing and we would like to thank Sue for going the extra mile in helping us find button holes for the wedding we were attending during the Easter bank holiday.”
“An old English local pub/hotel. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Nice evening meals. Suited my needs of 'a bed for the night'. The room was clean with TV, kettle, tea, coffee and milk.”
“Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on.
The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing.
Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events.
Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered.

“Stayed for business, having been here a couple of times over the last few years. The staff are very polite, helpful and friendly and the hotel is lovely. Well maintained with very good facilities including the Brasserie and more casual sports bar.
The only minor issue was the lack of an iron and board in my room, and the air conditioning set rather low. The latter didn't really matter as the bed was very warm and comfortable.”
“Communication was fantastic & kept me informed about everything at least two days before arrival. Beautiful room lovely linen and bathroom. Very happy.”
“Excellent service. Very old building so there a few things that are as best as they can be but are not what you may expect. For example, the tub is higher than normal and would be problematic if you are older. Heat seemed to be missing except in the bathroom. Still, we would easily stay there again when we return. ”
“We were at Snetterton race track for three days. The hotel is just 15 mins from the track, I have stayed here at the Townhouse hotel previously and will always come back.
OK - The hotel is a little tired but there’s a comfy bed and a pub across the road. That’s what matters.
Parking is in a public car park adjacent to the hotel. It’s a quiet village. There are four pubs in the village. One is opposite the hotel.
The rooms are fairly dated and the hot water comes through after a minute or……
“Comfortable stay once the heating kicked in. The hotel was booked in the premise that on Hotels.com showed that it had access to gym facilities. Upon arrival, it was explained this was not the case.
We were greeted kindly and checked in without any issues - booking was already paid for online.
Breakfast - a box breakfast was offered but was also advised we could go to breakfast at a different hotel.
The hotel is unmanned from around 8pm until…well I left at 8.50am and the front doors were……
