“Absolutely fabulous stay. The lovely staff and the grandeur of the hotel made this an exceptional experience. We used the hotel as a base for a very quiet wedding at the local registry office. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very special and nothing was too much for the friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure our every wish was catered for. “The hotel is part of a historic inn which was very atmospheric. We stayed in a family room for 3 people and the room was warm and cosy and welcoming as we arrived just before 9pm and it was a bit chilly in the countryside. Breakfast was excellent and in a nice dining room in a genuine rural setting. Service was friendly & excellent.”

“I was really sceptical at first because when we arrived the pub was really noisy but we had been told the venue was lively. I went to use the toilet in the bar while waiting for the key to our room and none of the hot taps worked in the ladies. We also had to wait about 10 minutes to get a key from the busy bar staff. However, the room was clean, the bed really comfortable and the bathroom was nice with lovely towels. The hotel was in a good location for what we needed and a lovely receptionist……

“Great location just off high street and near the Rowley Mile racecourse Limited parking , would help if customers could park straight Nice welcome , room OK clean , comfortable bed and good shower . Everything you need , microwave , tea coffee etc Bit expensive but everything is these days Needs updating but enjoyed stay ”
