“I want to preface my review by stating we had a wonderful time. We needed a getaway to unplug and relax and we were able to do just that. The area was beautiful, nature-plenty, quiet, secluded. There were a few unexpected glitches but nothing that we couldn't improvise around. Having said that, the listing said queen size beds, but they were only full, so my husband and I stayed in separate rooms which was sad . We also felt the people that prepped the home for our stay, must have ran short of……

“Can’t beat proximity to downtown and other CT locations.Unfortunately we were hit with icy conditions so we could not enjoy all it has to offer. Owner checked in on us and kept driveway safe and clear. We really appreciated his hospitality.The rental was well equipped with everything you need. I LOVED the sunny kitchen to enjoy my morning coffee.We’ll definitely come back when it is warmer!”

“This was a great, cozy place for my wife and I to stay in Collinsville. The rooms were tastefully decorated, in great shape, updated, clean, and peppered with cute artwork based on the "when pigs can fly" theme that always brought a smile to my face when I found another one. “Serene and peaceful, this weekend getaway was so good for the soul. The horses and donkeys in the lower level of the barn each had their own unique personalities that enhanced the festivities. Walking around the property accompanied by three happy dogs while hearing the goats bleating and the chickens crowing in the background only added to the quiet winter magic.
