There were also not a lot of people at the lake for it being Memorial weekend which was a huge plus for us.”

“This place was amazing. We actually live in Bastrop, so this place is close for us. We were wanting to get away for the night with our 6-year-old son, hang out and BBQ. The enclosed hot tub was perfect, we didn't turn the heater on, so my son was occupied all afternoon and evening using it as a mini pool swimming as we hung out on the porch. The back porch was so nice, and their BBQ pit and set up was 5 stars. From the decor to the comfort of the bed and couches, everything they provide, and the……

“The property is exactly as advertised. It is a hidden gem tucked away not far from the hustle and bustle of Austin. It was great to be in Austin when the Texas Longhorns won the College Softball World Series (see photo of UT Tower lit up). We actually got to meet the owner, he is salt of the earth and great to visit with. Trust us, this spot is worth every single penny! We will be back!”

“Amazing property with an amazing experience you can enjoy your entire stay. The cabin was beautiful and secluded with a view of the pastures and a friendly horse that visits the front porch. The owners of this property spared no expense and really thought of everything to include for you! My boyfriend and I stayed here for Formula One weekend, and it was so wonderful to not have the traffic and stress of Austin, only the trees and relaxation of Bastrop. We will definitely be back!”
