“Nicely appointed basement suite. Entry was a little confusing at first but there are directions, and once you get it it's convenient. I appreciated the physical keys to the space.The suit has everything you need for a medium-term stay, including minifridge, microwave, washer/dryer (very helpful), and other small appliances and gadgets. The host was very communicative and responsive. Not much came up for me but I'm sure Bibek would help make sure everything goes smoothly.Two minor items to note……

“The location was very quiet and the beds and pillows were comfortable. The place was clean and well equipped. The only issues were the sofa was broken or becoming unstable, the washer was leaking and very loud when running, and the door to the downstairs bedroom was broken. However, the property owner was quick to respond about the issues and our stay was unhindered by these issues. Just in case it is an issue for future guests, I will add that the downstairs bedroom doesn't have a TV. All other……

The property is well maintained and has a private backyard. And they are dog friendly. I travel with my dog all the time and I really needed a spot to stay on short notice that allowed dogs. 10 stars from me.”

“We love the Colonial Beach area! This is our third vacation in the area and this house was fantastic. Great location with short walks to awesome restaurants and close to the water. The accommodations were very comfortable and the house was spotless. Marcie (owner) was very accommodating in changing our reservations at the last minute due a major snowstorm in mid-February, but we were easily able to shift our reservation to mid-March thanks to her flexibility and assistance. “From the time of our booking, through our just completed stay, Owner was gracious, cooperative, responsive and helpful. The property itself was perfect for my wife and I and our two guests. Spacious, large bedrooms and very well stocked kitchen. We lacked for nothing. The guest house was a great option for a little separation, although we didn't need it for this trip. Well maintained property with an incredible view and location. No reservations-just highly recommend. Richard and Gloria”
