“What an amazing experience! The Cabin is at the top of the mountain and over looks Lake Isabella.. We enjoyed the short drive to Sequoia's 100 Giants Trail. Also a relaxing day atvthe lake and the 3rd day the Kern River. I would recommend this Cabin to anyone!You have to check it out for yourself, picture can only do soo much justice! “We absolutely loved our 2 night stay in the caboose. It was clean and spotless inside with everything you need to stay for a couple of days. There was a lot of rail traffic both day and night which is great if you are a railfan like me. We would absolutely stay here again should we ever visit Tehachapi in the future”

When arriving, we initially thought our stay would be in the cute home next door. Though the address I was given wasn't the next door address, we thought surely we wouldn't be staying in someone's back yard. We were wrong. Parking is in the host's driveway, behind their personal vehicles. We were reluctant to park there because we didn't want to block anyone in, but the host……

“We love Kernville for the biking and rafting and small town feel. The house was well located within a mile of town and was super clean. Plenty of room for 5 guys. We enjoyed hanging in the backyard too. Highly recommend ”

“Absolutely fantastic cabin on the Kern River! The cabin is beautiful decorated and the furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped with quality cookware and dinnerware. The outside of the cabin was even nicer. Both the front barbeque area, with the native garden, and the back porch were peaceful and relaxing. A short walk from the cabin and we were in the river. The owners provided lots of water equipment for our use. We felt like we were away from it all, yet the……
