“Great cabin! We really enjoyed our stay. Our family of 5 and 1 dog fit nicely. Host was very responsive and had perfect suggestions when we asked. The property is as-advertised - great location, close to attractions, but calm and peaceful in the evenings. The cabin has a great porch, comfy bed, organized kitchen area with all that we needed. Lots of books, games, and DVDs for the family. Highly recommend the cabin and the Travelers Rest area!”

“Our stay at the Bear Creek Cabin was outstanding! The location was beautiful with the creek, trees, lightening bugs, and deer. The owners have done an awesome job of equipping the house with all of the essentials. It was our perfect home away from home for two weeks while our daughter showed horses at the near by Tryon International Equestrian Center. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. We were able to relax there after long days at the horse show. We did have to buy a matress topper because the bed was very hard. Other than that we had all that we needed. Nicely decorated with sufficient towels and linens. Kitchen was lightly stocked so i wouldn't pan a big dinner. Host was accessible. We had to contact him when the directions for checkout were unclear. We texted a message and he got back to us in under an hour. We would definitely go back. ”

“We really enjoyed our stay, the only bad thing, we were unable to sit on front or back porch, the carpenter bees, (looked similar to bumble bees) were flying around both areas, not just a couple, alot. Also, the chairs, cushions were covered with pollen, but of course it is that time of year.”
