“House is surrounded by woods in a mountainous area. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub. We even played horseshoes in the yard. House has everything you would need. We definitely over packed. It is about a 45 minute drive to Lake George, restaurants, and a Walmart. Highly recommend visiting Martha's ice cream. The wifi is slow...assuming due to the area. My only complaint would be the upstairs master bed. It is creaky and uncomfortable. Would love to visit again during a more peak season. ”

“Rented this lodge based on other positive reviews - and they were spot on! Greeted by snowy landscape and cozy, warm, lodge wonderfully appointed More you looked, more you saw! Comfy beds, good showers, full service kitchen, spotless. Our family of 5 adults , 13 yr old twin granddaughters greed we felt like we were in a welcoming home. “This was our first family vacation with adult children and grandkids. We had such a wonderful time! The property is beautiful and very private. We felt comfortable with the grandkids being out in the open spaces and going from the house to the pool by themselves. In light of Covid, we especially enjoyed having a dedicated time for just our family to use the pool. Manchester is such a lovely town and there were a lot of activities nearby for family fun.
