“Inside is very nice. Clean and plenty of towels and even had shampoo. Kitchen had plenty of plates and silverware. Great little place to stay if you are going to Hershey.Some feedback: There was not a toaster or a regular pitcher( only Brita water pitchers) . The air conditioning was a portable in one bedroom. So if you are staying in the back room with the trundle and sofa it is very hot. The temps over night were low so if was warmer you would not able to use that room for sleeping. We did not……

“We were in town for a wedding, so we added an extra day to explore Harrisburg. The house I chose is river front and at the end of a quiet street. The location could not have been any better, 2 miles from downtown, with a wonderful river view. We spent the day walking along the river and enjoying the nearby park, historical monuments and the local restaurants. The house is older but quaint. The first level has been updated and is very nice. The 2nd and 3rd levels could use some TLC. The beds are……

“I spent three nights at this location, enjoying the proximity to Italian Lake and the river just a few blocks away! It is a pleasant 35ish minute walk to midtown. Consider visiting Broad Street Market, Midtown Scholar, Susquehanna Art Museum, the Yellow Bird Cafe, or Midtown Cinema as a part of your trip! “Really enjoyed our stay at this Gettysburg property! Entire house was sparkling clean. The kitchen was new and beautiful. The 3-level living was perfect for a family with teenagers. Also enjoyed the 3 different living areas with tv s and comfortable furniture for relaxing. Even the laundry area was clean and new. The owners were very thoughtful leaving homemade baked goods and plenty of drinks etc. We hope to return very soon!”

“This is charming & comfortable apartment in an antique Gettysburg home. We were in Gettysburg to cycle and the location was perfect. The front porch was lovely to sit out on both in the morning and evening. The home is a quick walk to restaurants and shops in the downtown area. It is also a short ride (car or bicycle) to the National Park and the hallowed battlefields. Cycling in the park and in the surrounding countryside was superb. Paul & Lisa were great hosts. We look forward to returning.”
