“A perfect place to relax and soak in nature. The cottage was our base camp as we traveled to Acadia National Park, Lubec and Machias. The deck was the perfect place to drink coffee in the morning and watch the sunset in the evening.”

“Very rustic with a HUGE emphasis on hunting. There were bear, turkey and antlers mounted on the wall. The place was a nice size. It was nice to have the bathroom down the hall from the bedroom. The living room couches and bed were comfy. Some of the fixtures weren't quite right. The antler chandeliers had cob webs, the sink had a hole where the sprayer was supposed to go, and the outlets weren't all secure in the wall. There was a lot of junk outside the cabin and we had to use our own towels……

“Great place to get away from it all. Remote and stunningly beautiful. Great amenities for enjoying the outdoors. Loved the firepit at night, eating outdoors, and the closeness to the water. Loved exploring the bay area at low tide finding sea creatures. Contact Captain Matt's for getting good deals on fresh lobster. The cabin fit my family of 10 great. We hope to come back again.”

“Stayed for a week and enjoyed every moment. The house was clean and very well-equipped. The location was very private and easy to access. We swam every day. The lake and waterfront were very swimmable, but I recommend wearing water shoes as it can be a bit rocky. Proximity to the coast and Eastport, Lubec, etc, is great. We were very comfortable here. We had our 80-pound dog, Stella, with us, and she approves as well. We would definitely return. Zero complaints.”
