“The locale is absolutely beautiful and private, with a lovely long rocky beach. I recommend bringing binoculars to view the many and various seabirds and seals, especially upon return to the abode; So many wonderful picture windows. While the desire for security is understandable in this secluded place, and presence of cameras was divulged in the profile, in reality I personally felt uncomfortable with them (I’m a Mainer). Perhaps if located on the road would feel less intrusive than around the……

The cabin, situated on a peaceful lake and in a fairy-woodland, gently persuades one to thoroughly release every stress. The cabin itself is well-stocked and smells of fresh pine. “This is a rustic, true off-grid stay. The property is absolutely stunning and the new owners clearly care about the camp itself and are working to to update and refresh it a bit. I did have a bit of trouble finding it and due to the lack of pics and directions when I booked, it just took a bit longer. I believe that has been updated. Garrett was great, super friendly and had great communication. Beautiful stay - I needed to get out into nature and I was able to do so. Absolutely would stay again……

“We loved stargazing from the deck - amazing night sky (especially with binoculars)! The cabin was very comfortable and had adequate supplies for cooking basic meals. The location is VERY remote, which we frequently look for. A mid-point for exploring both Acadia/Bar Harbor and the Bold Coast - Quoddy Head, Lubec, Western Head Preserve and East Port.”
