“Nice little place. The neighboorhood was quiet and nice. Keep in mind, we did not stay in peak season. The property is right across the street from the lake, public beach and park. I am sure during the summer this area is bussling with activity. Lovely area. The home was well maintained and clean. Enough amentities to make iur stay comfortable. We would stay here again.”

“Girls met here for long weekend. This is an older home updated. We didn’t do any cooking basically just slept there. Kitchen appears well stocked. It’s winter in Iowa, so parking of vehicles is required to be in the alley. Plenty of room for our vehicles Owner great to work with; very quick to respond to questions. “This lovely 1870s home has been masterfully preserved and I was even able to hear quite a bit about the homes history which is so much fun! The house is spacious offering all the comforts necessary to really rest and relax but also 23 minutes from The shrine of the Grotto of the redemption if you're looking for adventure. “I’ve never been able to stay in a house near Five Island Lake, so this was a cool experience. There is a great fire pit area and dock down by the lake. Overall you stay here for the proximity to the lake and the newness of the building. Which is not really offered in any other rental house in Emmetsburg. Grateful for the opportunity to experience it! The house has beautiful new wooden flooring and a nice living room. Check-in using the door code was perfectly easy. The house is set quite far……

“We loved your home! It was perfect for our crew while baling corn stalks. It was very nice and quiet neighborhood and close to town! The home was not as clean as we expected property is listed as pet free but we found dog hair very much in the main area and master bedroom. We did a lot of cleaning. Beautiful veiws of sunrises over the water. We would definitely stay again! Thanks for letting us use your home!”

“I've traveled to Algona before and stayed in the hotels, which were nice, but this stay was my favorite so far. The home is close to everything in town. It has a very charming feel and very comfortable to hang out with family. The host is very proactive and helpful with anything you need. The house is well stocked. The bed was extremely comfortable.
