“We had a group of 20 with another 6 joining us from the cottage. The scenic lakeside location with direct access from lawn to water was phenomenal. The lake water was exceptionally clean and the sound of loons peaceful. The extensive accommodations including numerous bedrooms and bed space as well as large, well-equipped kitchen, gave us good sleeping options and ease of cooking. The large number of bathrooms was a definite plus. Having the wrap-around porch with handsome dining tables……

“Very casual about check in they live next to the main Office and have kids so may be next door. Just key the radio on counter. We got there early and were given a good fishing place to try out before we came back. The last day we got directions to a local lake that is a short walk down a logging road. Like having a whole valley with a lake in the middle to yourself. We didn’t see a soul the whole time and it’s a good size lake. The description about out being off grid is dead on, 12 bolt lights……

“The house was absolutely lovely. The location was convenient from a major road but tucked away and quiet. We enjoyed visiting the nearby rock and gem museum, hiking and visiting the restaurants in Bridgton.The kitchen was well stocked and easy to work in, there was ample living space for our entire group to spread out, and the lawn was fantastic for games and activities.My favorite part was the pond which was fabulous for swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing and fishing.
