“We stayed in the cottage during the third weekend of October, yet the foliage was still beautiful. We were located just a few minutes away from Crystal Lake State Park, Lake Willoughby, and wonderful local restaurants like Roberto's Pizza and Barton Baking. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed, including heating and a nice fireplace. Highly recommend!”

“I cannot express how picturesque and beautiful this property is, the pictures do not do it justice. The property has everything you need for an excellent escape from your everyday. The bed was so comfy and large and the house was filled with local artists. The location is close to the highways so it’s easy to get to where you need to go!”

“These cabins were everything we wanted for a rejuvenating week in Vermont. They had all the basics we needed but also the coziness and simplicity that we were looking for. We absolutely loved going to the lake as well as heading out for hiking, biking, and otherwise enjoying the area. There was also more than enough room on the actual property for us (a group of seven, including kids) to play and relax. The hosts were incredibly nice, helpful, and communicative. “We enjoyed having the Maybrook Cottage as our home base during our annual weeklong visit to Vermont. Our young kids loved the location and the nearby waterfall to explore. The hosts are very easy to communicate with, and have done a wonderful job restoring these vintage cabins. Would definitely return!”

“The house and property were beautiful. The perfect winter Vermont weekend getaway we were looking for. Sledding for the kids and wood stove to keep cozy by. A couple of issues we had were two smoke detectors chirping low battery as soon as we arrived, and while the house did seem clean, there was evidence of rodent nesting in the kitchen. Vacasa quickly offered to come out. I recommend that VRBO indicate 4WD required in winter. This was not indicated on the VRBO website and we didn't see……
