“Eddie’s apartment is in a great part of Portland walking distance to the best parts of town. His communication was excellent, he had an extra air mattress when we needed it and the space was clean upon arrival. This place is a great option for a group of young guys (dart board, good location, affordable) or a low frills couple who cares most about location and doesn’t need anything fancy. I would caution against this for couples or a group of girls who are looking for something higher end.……

“We loved Portland, such a walkable diverse city. The house was clean. The only thing I would mention is the staircase going to the bedrooms is steep, this was not an issue with me but could be for some people.”

She thought of anything you may have forgotten to pack. The photos do not do justice to how nice she decorated. The West End location is very convenient to the highways and to the waterfront and Old Port areas yet it is a quiet, safe area. Be sure to stroll around the West End. “The apartment was clean, well equipped with good facilities and there was a lovely welcome basket on the kitchen table. It was slightly let down by the building being older than anticipated. The floors were very uneven, the shared hall/steep staircase was fusty and the large bedside cabinet meant that one side of the bed close to the wall. During the stay work was being done to the outside of the property (from early in the morning) which blocked the way through to the washing machine area so we……
