We grew up close by, and skied Berkshire East, so it was fun to revisit the area. The host was happy to share her local knowledge and more than accommodating. “The nearly 200-year old Carley Farmhouse nestled amidst the Vermont hills is a real keeper! The natural beauty of the area is stunning, and nature lovers will appreciate the bird chatter, occasional monarch butterfly, starry skies, complete with fireflies in the yard! Gather chairs around the firepit in the yard at night and enjoy it all.
