“Cute cottage with some nice outdoor space that we took full advantage of with the firepit and horseshoes. We had plenty of room inside and liked the front porch space. Close to Tamaqua and Jim Thorpe. Owner was quick to answer questions. Would recommend!”

“Everything was very clean and roomy. The air freshener scent was a bit strong but was remediated by opening windows. There were six of us and we never had issues with space or enough hot water. The only issues were a lack of tissues, no bake wear in the kitchen, and ants in the basement bedroom and bathroom.Overall, definitely recommend.”

“Nice updated property. Very clean. Needed paper towels in kitchen and bathrooms. Great communication with host, all questions were quickly answered. Could not lock the back door from the outside using the keypad. This door was unlocked when we arrived and the back screen door does not clear the awning above it and scrapes it every time the door is opened.Outside of these incidents, the overall experience was good.”

“Like an upscale “She Shed” this place offers quaint accommodations in the township of Reading near a public school with charm. Lots of amenities thought of for such compact sq footage. Was a challenge to move 2 people in the bathroom and my husband ran the shower too long so I didn’t get hot water so be sure and be frugal if two are sharing the water tank but that was my husband’s fault. Nice coffee and tea available. Bed was comfy and linens were soft. The Google TV was a challenge for us……

“Tru and Adriana couldn’t have been any nicer. The home has such a great history and the location and the property are fantastic. We enjoyed getting a tour of the horses that are rescued and hearing their stories. Our grandchildren really enjoyed their pony rides. We had a wonderful stay and would book again! Thanks so much! ”

“We stayed with a very large group of 21 adults and kids. The property was spacious and comfortable. We stayed during the winter, but I’m sure in spring and summertime with the lake. This property would be adorable. The only recommendation I would make is to upgrade their beds and mattresses which are kind of old and uncomfortable.”

“Booked this property for a stay in the Reading area while visiting my parents. The house was comfortable and clean which we all appreciated. I did not have much communication with the host (not his fault; I didn’t reach out much), but when I did, he answered all of my questions and the check-in and check-out process was simple with a key lock box out front attached to the porch railing. “We had a great stay here. We were skiing at bear creek mountain which was about 40 mins drive. We were two families- so 4 adults and 4 kids total, plus our dog. The kids LOVED the games room- even though it was quite cold even with the heaters (it was a particularly arctic few days when we were there) but the kids did not care! We had to drag them out! Haha.
