“This is truly a vintage cottage with a private waterfront setting.The cottage is very comfortable. I was there with my two goldens, plenty of room for them to swim and run. This would be a great spot for a family with young children. My only disappointment: I was expecting a kayak as pictured in the listing.”

“The property is just a short drive or bike ride to the village of Bethel Maine. We loved the proximity to endless hiking trails and wonderful roads to bike on. The town has great restaurants and a bakery. The kitchen had everything we needed for our monthlong stay and was very functional with a stove that has a center grill. The beds were comfortable, and we liked the rainfall showerhead. ”

“We had a delightful family retreat at the cottage. With my children aged 6 and 9, the sandy waterfront was a true highlight for them! We spent most of our days enjoying the beach, swimming, and canoeing in the serene cove. The owners were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, which added to our pleasant experience.
