“The Garage Apartment is close to town and nicely set up. It's one BIG room - but plenty of space for our family of 4 to spread out. It's close to town - but a little tricky to walk as there are not sidewalks on the side roads - but a super easy drive. We had a lovely stay and hope to be back. Chris - the owner was very communicative and helpful! Appreciate the hospitality. ”

“Used coffee cups in dining area...no breakfast...owner said that he would compensate for that but there was no one to check us out the next morning with no compensation...shame that an historic inn is falling through the cracks...I definitely would not stay there again...”

“This place was simply magical and comfortable to stay. We barely scratched the surface of the amenities like the fireplace and grills but the beds were comfy, the modern heat kept us warm, and the kitchen was easy to use for preparing food. The scenery is gorgeous and it’s quiet and peaceful! I had an enjoyable time walking my dog at night and seeing all the stars out! Rik is an amazing host and like other reviews have said, he greets you with fresh bread which was delicious! He takes the time……
