“A very comfortable cabin. Excellent base for Adirondack hiking and exploring. Multiple kayaks and a canoe are available for lake paddles. Kayak entry from water easier than from dock. Very well equipped kitchen and a Weber charcoal grill. We brought guide books and maps. Being unconnected from internet or cell coverage was OK but Wifi would have been useful to compare hiking routes or local restaurants etc in more detail. “First of all. We didn’t know the water wasnt potable so we had to grab our own. When we pulled up it’s a barn attached to a house and you have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to the “apartment” it’s a barn so lots of black flies upstairs so we didn’t use the beds. Spiders all over the place. Beach was beautiful and overall the place was very peaceful but the shower we didn’t use because we didn’t trust the water. Not a place I would take a child under 7. Very hard to wash bottles for a……

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was comfortable, secluded, peaceful, charming and nice and simple. Totally chilled out and relaxed in the pleasant and beautiful lakeside retreat. Did some kayaking and swimming...Had a bonfire.. Did some site seeing...Don't miss Ausable Chasm and Texas Red Hots (2miles north). The owners, were so friendly, accommodating and helpful. Grounds were clean. Brought our dog, Zoey and she enjoyed it too. The getaway we needed. Thank you”
