“This place was just the quiet retreat my husband and I needed. It was perfect for a short get away from every day life. It was cozy and very comfortable. Great host! Cautious, the stairs are steep going in and out but the hosts did a great job keeping up with salting then for us. Would definitely come back!!”

“Although this cabin is situated in the middle of a working Amish community, the experience was invigorating, yet utterly relaxing. The hosts were cordial and definitely accommodating. In addition, the cabin was completely cozy and easily accessible. Although the separate shower/bathroom was a mild inconvenience, it did not detract from the overall experience. The babbling brook behind the cabin was very refreshing and soothing. This is a great hidden find.”

Pantry is stocked with spices/cooking basics including Keurig coffee, creamer and some light snacks and a few waters in the fridge. “We had a fabulous stay at this unique property! I was very impressed from the moment we walked in. Charles has really thought about every amenity that one may need when traveling. My 6 year old adored the piano and the Macrame swinging hammock chair! I loved having Alexa right there too! Yummy local coffee and other treats were provided with many breakfast options. “Like an upscale “She Shed” this place offers quaint accommodations in the township of Reading near a public school with charm. Lots of amenities thought of for such compact sq footage. Was a challenge to move 2 people in the bathroom and my husband ran the shower too long so I didn’t get hot water so be sure and be frugal if two are sharing the water tank but that was my husband’s fault. Nice coffee and tea available. Bed was comfy and linens were soft. The Google TV was a challenge for us……
