“The home was clean, and had everything we needed. Large enough for our family. It was peaceful to fish and overall quiet. The road leading in is very rough. Potholes and broken rd. We were in an SUV and Truck but a smaller car would have issues. The patio furniture looked like it hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Had cowebs and dusty. Quick clean and it was fine to sit and read on. There is a large table outside to sit and eat. That was nice to enjoy the weather. Overall we would stay here again.……

“My girlfriend and I wanted to stay somewhere unusual and just explore the Dallas area, and this shipping-container-turned home was just the place! Views of the water and a lovely country setting, not far from Terrell, where we enjoyed looking at classic architecture, cool shops and got some great food. The shipping container doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside it is cozy and had everything we needed, including a kitchen stocked with water and some basic ingredients/tea/etc. The……

“We wanted to take my grandkids (7&9) on a short worry free camping trip for spring break and I ran across this place in my search. It is about four miles from the state park. The TiPis were amazing!! There are five on site. This would be a great place to bring multiple families. They had a wonderful pavilion area with LOTS of games, plenty of seating, and a beautiful pond. ”

“Our stay was rushed as we were scheduled for another lake, but things change. We committed to follow our long standing guide to Lake Tawakonia We feel (5 of us) we were fortunate to find LAGO VISTA available two weeks out from our trip. We were not there long enough to enjoy all of the features but we were and are favorably impressed whit all of what is there (boat dock etc) . we would return should the occasion arise.”

“Stay at Wills Point Retreat was positive and relaxing but we have a few suggestionsPositives:-A very large property-plenty of land. Feels private and secluded-Large bedrooms with multiple beds in most rooms -The kitchen was large enough to have multiple cooks working at once-The double oven really came in handy -The back porch was relaxing-The property had a lot of parking available-The location is very secluded but only a few minutes from a grocery store and a small downtown shopping……

“The house worked out well for our family of 8, including the dog! Our favorite part was the back deck, green space and open views of the lake. A few suggestions were made for the host, but overall we would stay here again. ”

“This property is beautiful! We wanted a quick get away from the noise of the world to relax...and this was exactly what we wanted/needed. The cabin is fully equipped and decorated with lots of charm. In the evenings, we sat on the patio with the lights turned off and enjoyed seeing the stars and listening to the wildlife. We plan to return again and again as often as we can. We loved this place!”
