“Beautifully renovated historic hotel. When you enter you are in awe of the beautiful woodwork to stain glass. Rooms were “roomy” comfy and bathroom extra large! Just wonderful!”

“We loved this quaint location and the privacy of the individual cabins! They had all the necessities and a rustic vibe with a great location to everything in Decorah. The place was new and had comfortable beds and furniture. My only suggestion is work on the cleanliness (fingerprints were all over everything that's used a lot so it made it seem like counters and such were also probably not wiped down, hair in the shower, dishes and counter had a lot of dust, and some stains on main wall areas……

“We came to town to watch Luther softball. We had a great two nights and have enjoyed the Nest on previous trips as well. We enjoy having the ability to use a kitchen, the sitting area is large enough to watch a movie with friends and the rental is always clean. We had to cancel this room this fall for Homecoming and the owner was able to move the reservation to this weekend. We found that very accommodating for us and really appreciated it.”

“Property is large with gorgeous views. Barbara and David are very pleasant, were reapectful of our time, and it felt private even though they were just upstairs. Sammy, their vizsla, is also super sweet. The place was homey and comfortable. We VERY much appreciated bringing our canine family members and they loved all the room to run. Location a short drive to downtown. Definitely would stay again if they would have us. ”
