“The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.”

“We had a very relaxing 4 day break in this beautiful stone cottage, a mile off the main road near Hadrians Wall, on a farm that practices environmental care and organic stewardship under the Green Tourism Business scheme. “Two retired couples, we have just had an excellent stay at Sawmill. Very comfortable, extremely spacious and yet cosy, the location and facilities of this property made it an excellent choice and it was perfect for our needs.
