“We had an excellent stay at this home. We had 12 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone - enough bedrooms and seats at the indoor and outdoor dining tables. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials. We enjoyed the ping pong table, hot tub, and volleyball court. The view of the mountain was spectacular. The only downsides were some bugs, difficulty closing/opening the deck doors, and no direct creek access from the yard. Otherwise, no complaints!”

“Fantastic place - amazing location right on main street but it leads out back to a private yard with an amazing view of the mountains. Inside is set up with amazing places to hang out and relax. Fully renovated kitchen. Lots of attention to detail makes this a really lovely location, can't recommend enough.”

The house was perfect for our group — great location, very clean, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed (including several items I don’t usually keep in my own kitchen). The beds were very comfortable, and the entire space was cozy and well-maintained. It was a great place for 12 of us to gather, relax, and celebrate. We especially enjoyed the wraparound porch — a lovely spot to sit outside, whether in the sun or shade. There were plenty of seating options……

“Could not have been any happier with our stay. Dans place was clean as a pin and exactly as described in the listing. There was a very minor plumbing issue that Dan made us aware of prior to arrival ( waiting on a part to repair a leaky shower) , other than that the house was in tip top shape. Having the pool was a treat after a hike @ Kaaterskill Falls. Lots of good dining options nearby ( Prospect @ Scribner next store was excellent!) . Had coffee in the mornings on the back patio with truly……

But it was everything you see and read on Scott's listing and in our case, even better. We decided to add a day to see more of the area. What a surprise to look up and see this literally mountaintop house from the attractions we were visiting in the valley (they were that close)! “Brought the whole family, ages 4 to 69, and it served us all well. House is beautiful and well kept. Mario was available for any questions or concerns. We enjoyed the fire pit and games every night. Kitchen was well equipped, soaking tub was a hit! ”
