“We traveled to Galena spur of the moment and wound up landing in the middle of a fall festival. While an amazing time, accommodations were very sparing. We found this place, 100 dollars less than any hotel within an hours drive in any direction. A nice king size bed, COMFORTABLE! none of that spring-in-your-side stuff either. The hotel has a waffle breakfast and other hot choices, on the smaller side but appropriate for the guest traffic, we were alone in the facility. Let’s talk bathroom! If……

“Such a neat property!! In between 2 bodies of water there are very few places for a dog to get lost! They had a blast exploring the grounds, we enjoyed fishing and kayaking. It had everything I expected and more. We'll be back!!!”

“Our stay at the 1926 Guesthouse was amazing. The house is beautiful and exactly as described. Our host, Heidi, was incredible to work with and communication was excellent. The check in process was seamless and the key placement when leaving the house is a great idea . The house is more than adequate to host a family or a group gathering. The kitchen is spacious and is stocked with necessary items. The handheld garment steamer is a fantastic amenity, it was a pleasant surprise to see it on……

Strangely enough, my cellphone was the only one of 5 that had the internet (Verizon service), so everyone used my phone to access the internet and make calls. But other than that, our stay was 5-star across the board.”
