“This sturdy, small house has everything you need to enjoy a get-away by a pretty lake. Lakeview always available through the large living-room windows and convenient & spacious dining area. 2 porches with seating are lit in evenings for a cozy feel. In addition, there is a large side/back yard with a fire pit, seating & ambiance lights. “The Roost is a very fun diner themed apartment which is located a convenient distance from Albany and Saratoga. It was clean and spacious. My only complaint was that the one bedroom has a double and twin beds not two double beds. We had plenty of space, but the beds weren’t exactly as described. I would have loved a few notes on local restaurants, grocery stores etc - and some more detailed information about the space- but it didn’t negatively impact our stay in any way- would definitely……

“This is a longer but since there aren’t other reviews I want to make sure add details. The townhouse is 3 stories. The 3rd floor has 2 bedrooms with king beds. The beds were comfortable, there is duel bathrooms between the bedrooms and the shower between those. Some of the doors didn’t latch close. There are blinds on the windows but no curtains so a lot of street light comes into the room at night. The shower had essentials and lots of closet space. 2nd story is the living room, kitchen, dining……

“Beautiful, large, old home, filled with hundreds of antiques, and a story for every one of them, I'm sure. You'd run out of time before you saw all of them. Really comfy beds, lots of bedrooms (some had private sitting rooms) and bathrooms. Nearly private driveway that winds through beautiful mountain scenery. We were there in winter and still saw tons of wild life..the birds! so many. Huge, old kitchen with some comfy chairs an eat in table and breathtaking views. A private bedroom wing, BUT……

“The house was great; very clean with comfy beds and spacious enough for our family of 5. Just a note: the third bedroom was on the first floor through the garage, which we weren’t aware of, but the room location did not detract from our stay. It was great having the connected bathroom upstairs and the location was perfect for our trip. Would definitely stay again!”

“This house is newly renovated and has lots of little amenities not available in other rentals. Any appliance you might need, hair dryer, tons of choices for TV entertainment. The location is ideal in West Albany near the University, shopping, major highways, etc. The owner quickly responds to all communications.”
