“to be clear i had an amazing time and really loved it. it’s a cute place and the access to nature was EXCEPTIONAL. but it definitely could be cleaner. i found big spider webs behind the bed, dust on kitchen objects (kettle, seasonings, bowls), and dusty side tables too. it’s understandable that one can’t find every single hair but there were visible long hairs stuck to the bathroom floor and i kept finding hairs on me as well (definitely not mine). the worst part was that the towels and spare……

“This cabin was a wonderful "home" for us for a long weekend. We have three children under 10 who loved having a bunk bed to sleep in, DVDs to watch, and games to play. Everything we could have thought of was available. We were able to enjoy breakfast on the enclosed back porch and a fire in the fireplace on our final night. This is a beautiful, cozy cabin with many special touches. Everything was clean, there were many blankets to cuddle up with while using the house fan on a chilly morning, and……

Everything that we needed was provided and they thought of everything, right down to little bottles of shampoo, soap, or even toothpaste and toothbrushes if you forgot your own. Cabin is rustic and cozy. Location is perfect, not far from town, but quiet enough for you to enjoy the wildlife and scenery that the location has to offer. Wish we could've stayed longer!”

“This a beautiful modernized Civil War house that just seems to keep going. Tons of room and the place is very well-kept and welcoming. The backyard is spacious with comfortable accommodations (plus parking) and you're right downtown in walk-around Gettysburg. Perfect for a weekend stay, or longer.”
