“Great traditional pub in a suburban area ( visit to relative) wonderful publican and staff. Parking was very tight. “Lovely apartment clean and well layed out, but to have a microwave hob and oven I feel it should have pots and pans and cooking utensils. There is a tv mounted on the wall but no aerial lead so you could only get on demand programs. Coffee tea and sugar was provided. “This is a 300 year old property and as such had wonky floors it's in a traditional pub that's owned by a Black Country brewery, Holdens although other beers are stocked. Our room was quirky but clean and comfortable with a well appointed shower room including minimum toiletries. The breakfast is traditional but not extensive but perfectly adequate, there's no other meals available here but the pub is in the centre of this lovely Shropshire town that's full of restaurants to choose from.
