“Everything was just as described in the listing- wish we weren’t so tired from the beach to enjoy the pool! So close to the beach!!!Neighborhood was a little rundown but there are security cameras around the property entrances code door lock so that made us feel very safe you park in the driveway. “Four of us celebrating having or soon to turn 40. House was amazing - I understand some of the comments about the steep hill down to the water, but that did not stop us (use the driveway, don't go down the grass!). Communication with the host was fantastic, the house was in great shape, and there are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, etc. nearby. “We stayed for a birthday weekend with a few other couples and had a great time. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and each 'area' of the house is incredibly comfortable (especially the movie theater). If you need anything there are plenty of stores close by and the area is very safe. Overall, no complaints and would recommend to anyone looking for a getaway.”

“Three of us were in town for a Navy reunion. This was the perfect place for us. There are 3 bedrooms. Pretty small, but perfect if you just need a bed and dresser. Nice little sitting area and eating area. It was really very cozy. The real plus is the location. It was just 2 blocks from a coffee shop, another block to a liquor store and convenience store. “This property was quite cozy and clean, with all the amenities one could want. The decoration was very cute and the location was amazing, especially for 4th of July since the beach is right outside. However it is important to note that the beach is rocky, not sandy, and gets quite shallow so it’s not the best for swimming. Nearby walnut beach and silver sands beach are both great for swimming. We never saw the upstairs neighbors and they were very quiet.”

"As an experienced traveler, I have to rate this La Quinta a ONE out of Five. The facility is too old to use. To open the door, you need to insert the card key dozens of times. The hall way is not flat, slightly uphill or downhill. The drain of the tub is only half-working. When you take shower your feet are in the water. Basin is cracked and glued. AC sound wakes you up every time when it starts. Breakfast is ok, but lack of food after 8:50, it says that the time of breakfast is 6:30 to 9:30. Parking is free and safe, which is only thing make my thumb up. Overall, with $140 per night price, I must say, I was very disappointed by this hotel!!! By the way, the other La Quinta hotels I have lived in are very good."
