“The Royal Hotel is a comfortable and friendly place to stay. It’s located conveniently in the town center within short walking distance to restaurants, pubs, and Jedburgh Abbey.”
“We stayed at the Border Hotel for a couple of nights while walking St Cuthbert’s Way. The bath was a very welcome addition to the bathroom & we certainly made use of it during our stay. The bed was a little too soft & a bit lopsided but after our hikes we slept like logs anyway. This is a no frills hotel but it had everything we needed. Hearty food & a lovely friendly team. ”
“This is the second time I have stayed at the County and will use it again on future trips. Simple setup, codes to main door and bedroom. The room was clean and comfy, well stocked with teas and coffees and overall perfect for my needs.”
“Not much could be improved upon at this beautiful, immaculate, well-organized B&B. Uta was delightful. The room & toilet were lovely, spacious, and wonderfully decorated. The view from our room (and even the toilet!) was one of the grand memories of our trip. Parking was in an enclosed area and spacious. Breakfast was delicious. You won't go wrong here!”

“Wonderful place!! Our room (6) was large and spacious with comfortable beds and amazing hosts!! Breakfast was great too! I would definitely stay here again!! ”
“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Central Guest House. Instructions for entry were provided beforehand via text message. The front door sticks but luckily another guest arrived who knew how to get in and showed us the trick. It's in a great spot in the town, prefect for all the restaurants, takeaways and pubs.
The interior of the building is tidy if a little shabby. We weren't entirely certain which room was ours but we eventually realised we could just pick whichever room we wanted from……
