“the hotel is near to downtown, which is good. the lobby is in a mess as they are re-decorating. room is smelly. lamps are with dust. quilt and pillow are clean fortunately. breakfast need to be picked by yourself and take it back to room. the breakfast lady was very nice and friendly. However this is not the case with the receptionist. I stand right in front of her for over 30 seconds. “This was an excellent place to stay in the French Quarter! Close enough to walk most places, but just far enough from the action to be quiet and relaxing at night. Staff was friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. Oh, and grab a breakfast at French Toast next door while you are there!”

“This hotel is all about location. walking distance to everything you want to experience about French Quarter.--- Fresh Market, Frenchmen Street (which I loved- music, dancing, great restaurants). Bourbon Street (not so much- unless you're one of the young, obnoxious drunks), I would say this hotel would be a gem if the rooms were updated. a little paint and caulk would go a long way. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets had stains and holes. The tub and shower curtain had mildew,……

“Property was very charming, pool was great for those hot days. Staff was friendly and helpful. I think refrigerators in the rooms would be great and coffee service in the lobby vs the machine in the room. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay!”

"The FMI enjoys a very convenient location in the French quarter at a generally affordable price. The architecture style is french with big windows and lovely courtyard quiet in a short distance away from the hustling streets outside. The manager and frontdesk people are all very nice dealing with unexpected situation in a very prompt manner. There is cable TV in the room. The AC works very well. The window view is pleasant."
