“This is my second fall trip to the Turtle Cove property in Hiawatha National Forest. The house and property were excellent, clean, and ready when we get in the first evening. The location made for great adventures and the morning views of the fall colors were excellent as I sipped my coffee. I will look to stay at this property again on my next visit to the area.”

“Excellent get away to relax and unwind, do a little fishing, swimming, two tracking! It’s great because it’s midway between Manistique and Munising about 20 minutes both ways, we loved it! Lots to see and do!”

“We had a fantastic time at the Beach Cottage with our dog. The cabin itself was gorgeous and had everything we could have possibly needed. It was cold and somewhat rainy for the weekend, but the pellet stove and space heaters made for a couple cozy nights on the couch. Our dog loved exploring the backyard and beach area, which was more of a marsh given the rain. There was plenty of firewood for a fire if we’d chosen to use the outdoor fire pit. We’d absolutely stay here again the next time we……

“We rented this cabin for a 4 day weekend so we could quickly get to Escanaba for my 7 year old to play hockey. It was perfect for our family of 4. We also thought it would be cool to access Little Bay De Noc easily for ice fishing. It was absolutely perfect for this. We caught walleye and perch just out front on the 2nd reef. We would definitely stay again and will be recommending our friends with small family’s as well. ”

“Had a bit of a hard time finding the house because signs mentioned in directions were covered in snow. All was as advertised. Great location for snowmobiling. Nick was very attentive and answered any questions we had quickly. All in all a great experience!”

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
