“We were looking for a place for our extended family to spread out and relax. What a treat to enjoy a fire in the fireplace and play games at a large table with an awesome view. Our winter wonderland was a bit spoiled by rain but we had plenty of space so we didn’t get stir crazy. Bonus - a Christmas tree and other decorations.”

“We had a wonderful visit as a family. We had the best of both worlds, being secluded in a private wooded area but conveniently close to tourist attractions and restaurants. Our host was phenomenal and unexpected upgraded us to a newer property due to miscommunication on his end with cleaning the cabin we were originally supposed to stay in. Would absolutely stay in this area again! ”

“When we walked into your cabin, we were just amazed, how beautiful and peaceful it was there. We just loved all the photos of the fish and decorations in the cabin and lures. It took me back to my grandma and grandpa when they were fishing together, and I still have her That she gave me when she and I would go fishing.There was no noise no traffic and beautiful sunsets that we could watch out the window or just by stepping outdoors and walking onto the lake. We also enjoyed ice fishing in Iola……

“Cozy stay in the woods, with private access to the little lake. Fire place, hot tub, brought our dog with. Our family had a great time!Overall great stay. Close to anything you might need.However, there was no disclaimer at the time of our booking, that the living quarters and what not are all 2nd story, and require a lot of steps up and down. It was just fine for our family, but may be difficult for older folks. ”

“This is the 4th year we've stayed here and plan to book again in the future. The house accommodates a large group of friends. With slight rearranging we can eat meals and hang out as a full group of 10 or split into separate smaller groups.Wifi works well, water is warm with no off smells/flavors, a second fridge and freezer gives plenty of space for food and drinks and the hot tub is excellent.Check-in/out couldn't be easier and with multiple questions sent to the property manager I can confirm……

“This is our second time staying at this property to celebrate Christmas with our kids and grandkids. We especially enjoy the large finished basement where are kids can play board games. The hot tub is an added plus for the adults! I would like to point out a couple of maintenance issues that could be addressed for the next family - the dvd player in the first floor living area does not work, the kitchen oven doesn't maintain an even cooking temperature - had to double cook times when using. ……
