“The Eagles Nest at the Blue Heron Resort on Diamond Lake is not for everyone but we loved it. I say not for everybody in part because you need to take a series of stairs including nearly 30 steps to reach the cabin from the parking space provided. While we (both in our 70's) didn't have a problem, others may well prefer few stairs. The cabin is also not fancy or modern and has a few quirks including a noticeable slant towards the lake. “Terrific location for UTV riding! Relaxing family time cooking together and enjoying camp fires. Cabins were great with comfy furniture. We brought a few movies and board games for a rainy afternoon. We will definitely be back!”
