“Very clean, cozy and hospitable stay. Kind & accommodating host. Perfect space for an overnight or weekend stay. Plenty of towels; bedding & appliances. It is a basement apartment so expect minor noises from the floor above mostly the doggo. Check in requires meeting with the host at the door and collecting the physical keys. Check-in & out process could be simpler with an electronic door lock code. My plans changed last minute and I left one night sooner. Thankfully I left the keys at the house……

“Everything was as described. All amenities worked well. Beautiful view and a private beach. A two minute drive to Calabogie golf course was a bonus (and a fantastic course at that!). Quick and easy communication with the host. We will very likely be back in the future. ”

“This was the perfect place for us while visiting relatives in the area and only an hour drive from the Ottawa airport. After we arrived Brianna came to welcome us and provide some detail about the home. This is a beautiful property, impeccable decor and design with all the amenities plus more. The hot tub, fire pit and a glass of wine at the rivers edge were added touches of enjoyment. The S’mores were delicious, thank you Brianna.”

“Great place to stay that feels like ‘home’. My mom and I went and they allowed my dog to join which I am so thankful for. They had their place equipped with anything you may need (-: Impressed! If I could offer only suggestion, was to have the name off the different coffee pods’ displayed. This place was above my expectations and would recommend it to everyone, Well done! “Absolutely loved it. Kids and dog loved the suave and we all sieht s out of time exporting the shallow rapids and counting the different birds we saw. We met Cheryl briefly and she recommended we take reclining lawn chairs to the front lawn to watch the stars - we did that after a fire and it was fantastic. Lots of games, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds. We rented a canoe from McReary Resort siren the road and also made a day trip to Murphys Point. Just loved it! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Skov Cabin. The space is beautiful. The layout allows you to enjoy the outdoors from the kitchen, dining and living room with wrap around windows - such a great experience and incredibly relaxing! Check-in was a breeze. The hosts provide an informative welcome manual prior to check-in. The hosts, Meghan and Dave were readily available during our stay which was greatly appreciated. Skov Cabin would be lovely to stay at regardless of the season. We would stay again and……
