“Decided on a last minute getaway and were lucky enough to find this little apartment A unit in an older home, very compact and clean .We walked to all food and drink options all weekend. A short drive to hike nearby Lookout Mountain on Friday morning. Safe location and I’d come here even as a single woman. Loved it and will be back! Note there are stairs and no elevator to our room but there were downstairs rooms. Pet friendly. Kitchenette and fridge. New shower in tiny bathroom. ”

“The location to this property is perfect. The owner is easy to communicate with. It was quiet. We had everything we needed. We will return.”

“Unit was more spacious than I thought it would be and was very clean. The unit is on the backside of the house with a small screened in porch. It was quiet and has a parking spot that is practically right by the entrance (which makes it easy to load and unload). The bed was comfortable and the unit was well stocked. Additionally, you can’t beat the location as you are in very close walking distance to the heart of the downtown and only a few miles from the highway. Would stay again.”

“We had a wonderful time. This place was beautiful with a wonderful wooded view. Denise was a wonderful host. Her banana bread was delicious. 5 starts all the way.”

“We have stayed at Appel Valley Villas a couple times now. Even though the space is small, there’s everything you need. We did notice that the comforter needed to be washed and there were extra pillows but no pillow cases, otherwise no real issues. We will be coming back to visit soon.”
