“This cabin is just as described. It felt like we were right at home. The bed was comfy. Kitchen was stocked with all the cooking items you would need--we did cook a few meals here. We also checked out several of the local restaurants and towns. We enjoyed several evenings on the enclosed deck--it was just so nice to sit and listen to nature and be lost in your thoughts. The neighborhood is beautiful. There is a cabin next door that can be rented as well--we talked about having our kids/grandkids……

“My wife and I had an excellent stay at this cottage for a long weekend getaway to the mountains of western North Carolina. As indicated in the title of the property listing, the location is fantastic. We wanted to explore both downtown Black Mountain as well as Montreat, and this property is perfectly situated for that. We also were able to walk into Black Mountain to enjoy the annual Sourwood festival and didn’t have to compete for parking. The owner was exceptionally friendly while also giving……

The drive up rocky driveway with some ruts was like an added theme ride, but do-able. The cabin itself is very roomy and for our short stay was very nice. ”
