“Check-in was a bit quirky, but the location is great with a beautiful backdrop. Note: there's no AC, so it was a little warm at night. We briefly didn't have hot water and stove gas, but it was fixed within an hour. Overall, I’d recommend this place. ”

“This place is confortable and super well situated for visiting Volcanoes National Park, which was our goal. Hot tub is a great bonus. The place was nice and clean, but does not have much cookware. If you're OK eith this, it is a great rental.”

“My family stayed here for a week for celebrations and a family reunion. The property is stunning and the hosts are kind, welcoming and well-informed on the area and property. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen extremely well-equipped (a vitamix!) The hosts are good communicators and I would highly recommend this place for a big group looking for lots of space in a remote area of Hawaii island. One thing potential guests will want to know-- although we found this place very……
