“This property strikes a rare balance: reasonably priced, well-located, and thoughtfully maintained without excess or pretense.The views are lush, the space immaculately clean, and the hosts both warm and unobtrusive. Practical touches such as on-site laundry, overhead fans, and a Sleep Number bed (more curiosity than necessity) made for an easy stay. Nighttime breezes kept the temperature comfortable.We had no issues with bugs — just a few charming geckos lingering outside. The only real misstep……

“The location is primo: slightly west of Waimea town, so easy 12 minutes to the beach and providing a lovely climate. The property itself is well maintained and all comforts are provided at the rental. Catrinka is a wonderful, generous and informative host. The quiet of the place is fabulous, as is the view. Two thumbs up.”

“Set in a large and glorious contemplative garden, the tiny cottage is masterfully furnished and equipped with everything you need and many things you didn’t realize you needed until you discovered them tucked away (plush robes, house shoes!) The linens (all towels, sheets, and blankets) are very high quality and plush and soft. The sheets are silver !! The gardens become your very own private paradise after 4:00pm and wandering around them and finding heaven in very small details will change……

I wish we had been able to enjoy all of the amenities but the erupting volcano kept us in the park. The outdoor tub with the lush surroundings …truly is paradise!
