We were very busy seeing the various attractions of the island, such as waterfalls, the black sand beach and South Point, and hiking in the National Park. We wished we could have spent more time at the cottage. Highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. ”

“This is our second time to stay here. We loved it, and came back because it was so quiet and comfortable, and such a beautiful place and view. The yurts are well equipped and clean. The elevation makes for comfortable cool, but not cold, nights. The central sky light is spectacular at night with so many stars. It is calm and quiet and beautiful with various flowers. But it is easily accessed from Kona South Point and Volcanoes National Park. If we get back to the big island again, we hope to……

“We had a wonderful stay at La Cappana. The historic cabin is in a fantastic location in Volcano town right near the Kilauea Lodge with its fantastic restaurant and the Swap Meet at the community center, and a quick and easy drive to the best of Volcano National Park. Even though it is so close to everything Volcano has to offer, the property feels very private with lots of native plants and trees. We enjoyed watching all the birds with our morning coffees We had an added bonus of visiting……
