“Our family of 8 - 5 adults, 3 kids, had plenty of room. Everything needed for a comfortable stay. Comfy beds. Appreciated the coffee as that was the one thing we forgot! Very close to Volcano National Park. Nice quiet area. Host very responsive. Easy check in. Highly recommend and would stay again. ”

“We came to Volcano to hopefully see Kilauea erupt. This house was in a good spot to get to the park easily. You do have to drive down a pretty rough road to get to it, but just go slow and it’s fine. The house is very nicely decorated and we didn’t notice any musty odor (as some in Volcano do) from the rainforest location. It was very clean. The beds are comfortable. “Classic Hawaiian plantation style house; rustic in the best way! Truly a gem if you like old Hawaii...yet with all the modern amenities (TV Internet Kitchen etc.). House had electric heaters in every room as well as a gas fireplace that cranked out the heat. I will absolutely stay here again. 3 minutes and 33 seconds away from the Park entrance ( we timed it; that's with no cars on the road, 4-5 minutes avg. during the day) Thank you Ola'a! ”

“Did you ever walk into a rental and know that you are a special guest and not just another renter? You will feel this away here. Every detail inside and out has been thought of and organized. The kitchen is ideal (plenty of items to get started, condiments and spices incl coffee), the bedding was heavenly and the outside areas so relaxing, every inch was squeaky clean too.Steve was beyond a five star host and was so helpful for off the path island info and volcano watching.tips..
