“My family of 4 stayed here for 4 nights. It fit our needs perfect. Very cute a cozy. We spent most days exploring the island and Mongoose Manor gave us a nice place to rest. Great relaxing views. It is a good central spot between Kona and Hilo, especially if you would like to explore both sides separately. Great experience all around.”

We really enjoyed falling asleep to the sounds of a crackling fire every night. Large house with everything we needed and a very unique private yard setting.”

“We came to Naalehu to visit family. We stayed at the home which worked out fabulous. The house was perfect. It is very open and the lot is like a giant lush green park. The kids had a blast while the adults hung out in the front area bbq’n. We would definitely stay again.”

“Ivy's home is beautiful and very private! It was rooming and perfect for our family of 7. Everything is new and extremely clean, organized, with all the needed amenities and more. There is an ocean view private golf course in walking distance that will give guests passes and also has a clubhouse for meals, drinks, music, which we took advantage of. Ivy was very easy to communicate with and gave us great suggestions/recommendations. An added perk was renting their Ford Expedition! I hope to……

“As other reviews mention, it's on the south of the island. It was ideal for us, as Kona and Hilo were both in reach. Great place!”

“The cottage was very quiet and relaxing. The breeze was beautiful and comfortable at night. Be aware there is no TV or wifi, so be prepared to relax and enjoy the weather and read a good book. It was clean and the property was huge. It is close to black sand beach and not too far from the volcano. We would stay again!”
