“We love this little bungalow home just on the outskirts of downtown McKinney. Within walking distance to the square, right next to a new Starbucks, easy access to 75. This home is perfect for a couple or 2 couples. Large bedrooms both with comfortable king size beds. New appliances, newly remodeled. It’s such a great home and our host, Simone, was so attentive and caring and just as sweet as can be! We stayed at this home twice because we liked her so much!!”

“We came into town for a golf tournament and chose the Dwelling Place for our stay. It’s a very lovely beautiful home. Enjoyed my coffee on the back porch in the mornings. Comfy beds. Great hosts. Very attentive . Beautiful and fun Historic downtown area. Lots of shops, restaurants and wineries. Would definitely stay here again. Thanks Dusty”

“This was the perfect home base for our stay in McKinney for the Byron Nelson tournament. The location was less than 10 minutes to the course, and with Pat's input, we discovered Stix Icehouse, a fun place to eat nearby. She was exceptionally responsive and welcoming, even leaving a card for our birthday boy. The house was spotless, beds super comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with the most important thing - coffee! Would definitely stay here again when in the area.”

“Good size great for big families. Missing some kitchen items like a griddle and some new pots and pans and utensils . Also those pillows and beds are not comfortable. Should have had thicker quilts due to cold weather. Besides all the negative things we made it work.”
