“We very much enjoyed this peaceful retreat. The guesthouse is in a safe and quiet but walkable neighborhood, tucked back from the street and in a lovely garden setting. Inside, it’s beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed including an electric teakettle—something we use at home and usually miss when we are away from home. “This house was in the perfect location for us. Easy to walk or drive to many food/drink options, many trails/parks/beaches within 30-45min drives. Yes it’s next to a brewery, but we were there on a holiday weekend and barely heard any noise from it (and they had great cider). House had everything we needed to relax between adventures and it was easy to come and go as needed. ”

“We loved staying here. The description should have included rustic but that is not a negative. If you are expecting the Hilton, forget it. But if you want a comfortable place to stay with a great view and access to the water, this is it. Appliances are all new. Using the kayak was wonderful. The water is very calm. We would stay here again in a minute and are already looking at dates for next year”

“This place was just perfect for our long weekend stay while visiting our son’s family. We would highly recommend. ”

“We had a fabulous stay on Bainbridge for a long weekend get away. With an extra friend staying on our trip it was a huge plus to have the additional bed in the second bedroom. All the beds were super comfortable (memory foam?) and I loved that we could control the heat in each room. We enjoyed making coffee in the morning and sitting out on the front and back porch, or next to the furnace in the little den/front room. We didn't end up renting a vehicle for our trip, and while it was around a 30……
