“Overall, the stay was fine. Good for the price. Was offered a complimentary cold bottle of water at check in. Comfortable bed, microwave & minifridge in room, tub's bottom surface was somewhat ridged (much appreciated since it helps avoid slipping in shower). Room felt quite humid, even when A/C was running. Papers & fingers felt damp. The shower & toilet are in a small closed room, so a bit limited in space. No outlets near bed (inaccessible behind bed). No hairdryer in room. Wasn't a problem……

“This hotel ahould be marketed as vintage, classic or nostalgic for us Gen Xers. It is clean, safe, maintained, has good water pressure and a value price. This is exactly like what we would have expected in the 70s or 80s on a family road trip and would have loved. “We rented this home to celebrate my sister's 60th birthday and it was perfect! The home had plenty of room & seating, and was well stocked with everything we needed! Everything was clean & instructions were clear for our stay. I would definitely recommend it to anyone!”

“My nephew was getting married at The Gin at Hidalgo Falls and we were looking for a place that would be close to the venue. This home was just 10 minutes away and was absolutely amazing. “This place was incredible! We stayed there for only one night but wish we had booked it for more! The outdoor shower, hot tub, snack basket, breakfast, and everything else was amazing. The owners have an eye for detail. The lights were on with music when we arrived. We enjoyed everything they had to offer including our morning coffee on the back porch with chickens roaming around. We even saw multiple deer the night before. I highly recommend this romantic getaway place!”
