“This adorable cabin is the perfect place for a weekend get away. The cabin is just as described and feels very homey & relaxing. The cabin is spacious & there is plenty of room inside and out. Try out the hot tub or just relax on the porch - it’s so peaceful. The location is perfect - a short drive to Brenham & just a bit longer to get to Burton/Round Top. We enjoyed our stay at this hidden gem - it was a great place to celebrate our anniversary! ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Little Black Cabin over Thanksgiving weekend. The kitchen had everything we needed, and both the bed and the sleeper sofa were incredibly comfortable. The cabin offered a peaceful and quiet retreat, while still being conveniently close to stores and family. An added bonus was the electric car charger, which wasn't mentioned in the listing but was greatly appreciated!”

“If you’re looking for a quick and easy getaway for a weekend, this should be your retreat! We arrived late Friday night and were greeted to lights on, easy access to enter the property and a very comfortable bed! Awakening Saturday morning and it was lovely having coffee on the porch watching deer. Saturday evening a group of red tailed hawks put on an amazing aerial display over head! Magical!”

“Owner was easy to communicate with, the property was beautiful and set away from it all; but still 15-20 minutes from downtown Brenham. Kids were able to roam, check out the livestock, fish, and relax at the pool. Plenty of room to grill and cook, all while relaxing at the end of baseball tournament games. Will definitely be making a returning booking.”

“This place was incredible! We stayed there for only one night but wish we had booked it for more! The outdoor shower, hot tub, snack basket, breakfast, and everything else was amazing. The owners have an eye for detail. The lights were on with music when we arrived. We enjoyed everything they had to offer including our morning coffee on the back porch with chickens roaming around. We even saw multiple deer the night before. I highly recommend this romantic getaway place!”

“We are only 2 hours away from Rockin Star, but this was just far enough to get out of the city & enjoy the quiet & slower pace of the hill country. We enjoyed the pool each evening & it was very relaxing. Darrell Sr & Jr were super friendly & helpful with the ins & outs of the property, and Darrell Sr showed us around the property. “Very nice ranch, loved the set up of the cabin…a bit cold (comforter very thin) but not horrible! However, upon arriving I was not greeted or treated as a welcomed customer. I was two steps away from my car when the employee came out and asked my name, and told me the code to my cabin.
